In my donation reports, why do I see zip codes / postal codes for some prospects and not others?

Zip codes and postal codes are captured based on the way a donor processed their transaction (credit card, PayPal, QR code)

Zip codes / postal codes are visible in reporting, when the zip/postal code is captured during the donation process. 

Different payment options and an individual donor's s mobile device configuration settings, determine whether or not a zip code is shared with the Accelerist system and therefore available to you in reporting. 

  • IF the user donates by credit card, we can capture the zipcode
  • IF the user donates by PayPal, the system does not record the zipcode so we cannot capture it
  • IF the user scans the QR code to donate, we can capture the zipcode but only if the user's mobile phone is set to allow geographical location sharing
